Entering the second year of my college year, I had new resolutions. But deep inside, to me, sticking to plan was difficult. However, this semester is a turning point in my life. I'm more disciplined now. My church leader once told me, that Jesus is the center of gravity in your life, that if you have a healthy relationship vertically, you will have everything else in life in place accordingly. True enough, it happened. "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me."[Phillipians 4:13] I am motivated to go to class even if the lecturer is not a dedicated one. In short, I got possibly have achieved by myself.

I've always wondered in my quiet time why am I not living the crazy college life, having hangovers and parties after parties. Now, I can only say that I'm contented that I have a life of my own and doesn't go under "trends" yoke of slavery. Who said that college students must smoke, sleep around, club and be wild? Who laid down the rule that college students must have fun at the expense of themselves? There is nothing wrong with having fun while you're young. In fact, I had the most fun at this stage of my life. Just beware that you're not among the crowd that you do what you do just because all the others did it and everybody thinks you're cool if you would too. That just sounds so lame when you hear it unfolds in words, but it's the fact. XD Lest you will still feel empty deep-down when you're alone at night.

I went to try Sisha in town that day with my classmates and we laughed the hell out of it. We told our lecturer that we went to commit crime and he laughed at us too. He thought we're "cute". LOL!! The real challenge in college is not how much "coolness" you earn but how much maturity you gain from these short 3-6 years. Time flies. So I gotta remind myself what is the REAL stuff that I gotta do and that I won't regret when I look back in 15 years' time. As for now, I want to be a nerd when I'm studying, kick back and relax when I need it, and have tonnes of fun outa both when I live. Youths should be productive and contributing to the society instead of being a pest, a parasite to those who love them. Just like the song "live like we're dying"

Shout!

I've always loved an adventurous life. Upon finishing secondary education. I followed God's voice into a path that I, never would thought of in my wildest dream. Many friends would question why would I take up such awkward path, diverted totally from the original, few know I indebted my life to my Saviour. For a while I naively thought I could stay faithful, until test came. While I was on fire serving God, the biggest test came. It seeps into my daily life like a poison, slowly and stealthily. I saw it coming, but I was just too careless and confident, thinking I could handle it single-handedly. I was wrong.
By the time I took notice of it, the matter looked more serious than it is in my imagination. Making a u-turn isn't impossible. However, it came with a heavy price. Time-consuming and much effort is needed. On the positive side, it provides an opportunity for the stubborn me to fully rely on Him for strength and wisdom.(Zech 4:6) Deep in my heart I know, that this is one of the things that I must go through. That this is a preparation period for something more important. For a purpose bigger than myself. For my destiny.
Humans are like superman. Born with superpowers. Our temper, characters, habits, talents and gifts, etc. Throughout our lives we learn to master them. One important process is the process of molding. As to clay by its potter.(Isa 64:8) Some good ones succeed and continue to bring blessings to their circle of influence; though some bad ones abuse their powers and bring turmoils to lives around them.
Who am I to boast that I can do this and that? In the end, I am just a clay, ready to be molded. it's not surrendering myself to be taken by lightly, but with my life I trust the greatness and fullness of He who mold me.(psalm 31:19) Relationship is one of the most difficult thing any young sons of God need to experience, but it is also one of the most rewarding experience you will encounter in your life. Once again I ask myself, if I am willing to surrender everything I have to God. After some consideration, with much struggle, my answer remains positive. Yes, I am willing. For when I was born, I had nothing, except for the love of God. Till this day, I have everything, I still have His love within me. For that, I shall want nothing, except for more of His love. This is a song that best describes my feelings right now:

Amazing Grace Lyrics

John Newton (1725-1807)
Stanza 6 anon.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear
The hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come;
'Tis Grace that brought me safe thus far
and Grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promised good to me.
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.

Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.

When we've been here ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we've first begun.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

The other day I cried myself to sleep, thinking why not even one person understands me wholly. That night I dreamt of myself already around 30s, shopping together with a girl much younger than I was, that felt like my daughter. We were so happy together, looking at all the things we liked. When I was about to wake up from that dream, God spoke to me and told me that just like the feeling that girl gave me, he would forever remains my best friend, and I shall never be lonely. That night I was healed, from the darkest trauma of my childhood.

Hope this post gives you some inspiration ;)

Summer Holiday

I'm currently enjoying my summer holiday.
Been to Asia Conference at Singapore CHC, Genting Highlands, Mukah, Sri Aman, Lubok Antu.
Now having Kuching Open Netball Competition. It's the 1st match since... gosh. Can't recall. I still love to play netball so much :)
Everything is going well. Results is going to come out next month. *Boo!*
Love the night. As everything is so quiet and predicted.
I'm planning for a change of direction. For fun. Dislike monotonous life rhythm. :p
After 1 n half month of rest, I got sick of doing nothing. Gonna find myself a job. :D
I love God. But I gotta love Him more. ;)
People who don't have adequate exposure are difficult to communicate with. But I'm trying to mix in. :( Not to say I'm above, there are other more exposed people than I do, but that's what I'm facing.
I gotta improve myself instead on focusing on just several things in my life. :)))
Plan plan plan... ...

Nearing Summer Holiday

Yoohoo!~ I'm finally finishing my exams! Am left with the final paper. Praying hard. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. Haven't been sleeping regularly for weeks but I'm feeling better than before as I have more quiet time with Jesus. It feels great to surrender everything to Him knowing that he will always be faithful :)
And of course, can't wait for the last day to come when my classmates n I are going to have one hell of a fun time right after it ends. However, now is the time to focus and not let the holiday mood sinks in. Haha :P Gotta keep my focus and give my last as well as best shot. This is the first exam I have had in 1 year and a half. Finally feel "belonged" and "attached" to my destiny, no longer feel distant or detached from it. No matter what lies ahead, be it good or "bad", I shall press on to what's awaiting ahead.
As the church is growing, I see clearer and clearer of what the future has to offer. A more vivid picture as compared to what seemed to be blurry. I hope that I continue to grow in spirit and in truth, becoming a youth of today and tomorrow. :)

Exam season

I'm having exam. Now down with 2. 2 more to go. Needs ample of grace from God. Criminal Law exam was average but Public Law was difficult. Am keeping my faith and pressing on. Gotta study harder for the next two papers; Common Law and Contract Law. Grateful for the support from friends and family. Through this, I see the pressure of exam serves as a force that binds the whole class together. College life is so different from that of secondary school as when we were younger, most of us were being more competitive than supportive to each other. Couldn't wait for the exam to finish of course, but in the mean time, I just wana enjoy the moment to the max. ;)

Jelly Fish

Yes. Today I feel like a jelly fish. Couldn't wake up for morning watch and spent the whole day sleeping. So fatigued. Wonder what is wrong with me. Gonna zzz and hopefully regain my strength tomorrow. Can't wait for Saturday to come. Wana go play netball. Stressed out by Common Law and not functioning anymore. Gotta press on and pray hard and long.

Wait for me, time! I'm gonna catch up and overtake u! Muehehehe~ :D
